Article 17 of Misdemeanours Law 5326 gives a 25% discount if the administrative fine is paid within one month of notice. The window has been one month since 31 January 2024. Sites that still write 15 days are mixing it up with the appeal.

GİB’s 2026 motor-vehicle-tax and traffic-fine guide: a 7 January 2026 notice has a discounted last day of 9 February 2026. 7 February is a Saturday, so the deadline moves to Monday 9 February.
How the discount is calculated
The discounted amount is three-quarters of the ticket. 47/4 at 20,000 TL becomes 15,000 TL. A 1,246 TL parking fine becomes 934.50 TL.
The discount applies only to the money fine. Licence days, penalty points and a traffic ban are not cleared by paying early.
